Sadio Mane is one of Africa’s biggest exports in Europe but in 2011 when he left Senegal, and when to FC Metz in France, he didn’t even have an email address or know about one.
But here is what happens according to journalist Collins Okinyo.
‘He then wants to send a photo of him to his mother but has no camera and very little money.
He asks a journalist to take a picture of him.
The journalist takes the picture and asks for his email address to send him the picture.
But Mané does not have an email address so he asks the journalist to send the photo to FC Metz … Before leaving, he asks the reporter “this picture is free, is it not ?”
8 years later, Sadio Mané is a player for Liverpool, he won the Champions League and financially supports his native village.
