JOHANNESBURG – Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) head-honcho Julius Malema visited Mugabe’s family in Harare on Monday to pay his respects for his hero and former president of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe. Malema was accompanied by his fellow executive staff Treasurer General Leigh Mathys showed up the Blue Roof mansion in the affluent suburb of Borrowdale, Harare.
Mugabe died on September 6th due to cancer in a Singapore hospital.
The EFF leader also held a private meeting with Grace Mugabe and other family members at the Blue Roof mansion, where Robert Mugabe’s body is lying in the state ahead of his burial next month.

The delegation was invited by the Mugabe family, weeks after Mugabe death.
The EFF leader was both an admirer and critic of Mugabe.
In 2017, before Mugabe was overthrown, Malema said the then-president was no longer capable of discharging his duties.
But after Mugabe’s death on 6 September, Malema described him as a hero of the people and said he had remained so to the grave.
During their stay in Blue Roof, a mansion with an approximate value of R140 million($9 million-plus) – Zimbabweans and South Africans enjoyed some sumptuous dinner. Looks like the fine China and gold tiered stands got a run-out.
Robert Mugabe has still not been laid to rest.
